  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit or crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add onions and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in shredded cabbage, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until cabbage is slightly wilted.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the biscuit dough on the bottom, followed by half of the beef mixture and half of the cheese. Repeat layers.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges. Let cool slightly before serving.
