  • 1 ½ cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh cherries or cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine crumbs and melted butter; press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Bake crust for 10 minutes; let cool.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth; mix in sugar, cocoa powder, sour cream, and vanilla.
  4. Pour filling over the cooled crust; smooth the top.
  5. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 55-60 minutes until edges are firm. Cool in the oven for one hour.
  6. Refrigerate for at least four hours before serving. Top with whipped cream and cherries.
