  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture; mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
