Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- Peel and slice the Russet potatoes into 1/8 inch thick rounds.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter; whisk in heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.

- Layer half of the potato slices in the greased dish, pour half of the cheese sauce over them, then repeat with remaining potatoes and sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; remove foil during the last 15 minutes for a crispy crust.
