  • 1 package (16 oz) phyllo dough
  • 2 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup pure honey
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios or almonds (toasted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your workspace.
  2. Carefully unroll the phyllo dough and brush each sheet with melted butter before stacking about 5-6 sheets in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, honey, and cinnamon until smooth. Adjust sweetness if desired.
  4. Spread half the ricotta mixture over the phyllo layers. Add another layer of buttered phyllo sheets.
  5. Spread the remaining ricotta mixture on top; cover with more buttered phyllo sheets.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
