Description

Mini Cherry Pies are delightful, bite-sized treats bursting with sweet cherry flavor and wrapped in flaky pastry. Perfect for parties or cozy family gatherings, they’re sure to impress!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cherries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch; mix until cherries are well coated.
  3. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 4-inch circles.
  4. Place a tablespoon of cherry filling in each circle, fold over, and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
