  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook seasoned chicken breasts in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown (6-7 minutes per side). Let cool slightly and shred.
  3. Start layering: spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the dish, add a layer of noodles, followed by shredded chicken, mozzarella, basil leaves, and more sauce. Repeat until ingredients are used up, finishing with noodles topped with remaining sauce and mozzarella.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  5. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
