- 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook seasoned chicken breasts in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown (6-7 minutes per side). Let cool slightly and shred.
- Start layering: spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the dish, add a layer of noodles, followed by shredded chicken, mozzarella, basil leaves, and more sauce. Repeat until ingredients are used up, finishing with noodles topped with remaining sauce and mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
