Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 3–4 green tea bags
  • 2 ripe peaches (pitted)
  • 3 tbsp honey or sugar (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Fresh mint leaves (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle. Remove from heat once boiling.
  2. Steep 3-4 green tea bags in hot water for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in honey or sugar while the tea is still warm, adjusting sweetness as desired.
  4. Blend pitted peaches with 1 cup of cold water until smooth. Strain if desired.
  5. Add lemon juice and mint leaves to the brewed tea, then mix in the peach puree.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving over ice, garnished with extra mint or peach slices.
