  • 3 tbsp butter (melted for brushing)

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, paprika, and dried herbs.
  3. Add the frothy yeast mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients; stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough gently, shape into a loaf or ball, cover again, and allow to rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush the risen bread with melted butter before baking.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
