  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Frosting (store-bought or homemade, as desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Create a well in the dry mixture and add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  4. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow cooling for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, frost generously with your choice of frosting and decorate with candy eyes.
